Weaved Up

Remember my weave me over post? Well mama gotta a brand new weave, lol. My sister, Ayo, made another weave cap, but this one is a full closure, so no hair's left out. She was quite concerned that straightening her own natural hair to blend with the weave was causing heat damage and the whole point of the weave cap was to protect her tressess from the havoc cold weather and central heating wreck on hair during winter months. So here's the finished look:

She glued it into a side parting on the lower tracks, then covered the parting on the upper tracks before finishing with a closure.

You could do a full weave cap with a fringe:
Or even a lace closure, I'm not a big fan of lace wigs and frontals because they're difficult to get right but lace closures are small and manageable. They're usually only a couple or so inches wide so only a small amount of glue is involved.

    1. Glad you like the blog, the hair's actually a tongable synthetic weave (up to 200c so you can use electric straighteners but not the stove ones). It's called Sleek Idol 101 Synthetic Delux Weave. There's a photo of the packet in my "weave me over" post - http://emblemofbeauty.blogspot.com/2011/12/wig-out.html x
